Kids 1 Mile Fun Run

ANNOUNCEMENT
The Village of Ruidoso Parks and Recreation would like to let our participants and community know that the 2020 Ruidoso Full/Half Marathon as well as the Schlotzsky's Bun Run will be CANCELLED. We do want to reassure everyone that the health and well–being of our participants and volunteers is our primary concern. 
We will be issuing refunds to those who have already registered in the coming week.

2020 Schlotzsky's Kids 1 Mile Fun Run

Kids 1 Mile Fun Run will run clockwise on the recreational path at the White Mountain Recreational Complex towards Village Hall/Public Library and will have a turn around at .5 miles to run counter clockwise back to the finish line.

Date: Saturday June 20, 2019

Start: 5:45 p.m. at the White Mountain Recreational Complex in Ruidoso located at 685 Hull Road Ruidoso, New Mexico 88345 (Adjacent to the Ruidoso High School Baseball Field)

Registration fee: $10

Prizes: There will be cash prizes and medals for 1st (Gold), 2nd (Silver), and 3rd (Bronze) place finishers in both genders and various age groups.

All runners will receive a participation medal when they finish the race, a guaranteed t-shirt, and a goody bag.

  1. Is the timing correct? 5k start is at 5:10..kid start is at 5:30. I won't be fast enough in time to finish the 5k and then help my kid with the 1 mile. not to mention it looks like we'll be finishing up the last mile of the 5k on the same stretch of road that the kids will be running down for the mile. correct?
